
Foamlab Selected as a Finalist for the Green Concept Award 2026
We are proud to announce that our Bacterial Cellulose Foam has been selected as a finalist for the Green Concept Award 2026 in the New Materials category. The Green Product Award jury selected the finalists from more than 1,000 submissions across 45 countries, recognizing projects that stand out in design, innovation, and sustainability.
The Green Concept Award, organized in cooperation with the IKEA Stiftung, highlights pioneering ideas and supports the development of next-generation sustainable solutions. Being named a finalist affirms Foamlab’s commitment to advancing circular, bio-based materials with a low environmental footprint.

Before the competition continues with the selection of the jury-appointed winners, public voting for the Audience Award is now open . Each year, more than 50,000 people participate in the public vote for the Audience Award.
