This spring, Foamlab is proud to be part of the Techtalk Expo at Delft City Hall (Stadskantoor), running from March 4 to April 30, 2026. The exhibition brings together twelve pioneering innovations that are shaping a more sustainable and efficient future—and we’re excited to showcase how our materials fit into that vision.
At Foamlab, we are rethinking how foams are made. Instead of relying on traditional manufacturing processes and fossil-based inputs, we demonstrate that foams can be grown. Using microorganisms, we develop bio-based foams that are lightweight, strong, and fully compostable. Our ambition is to replace conventional oil- and mineral-based foams across a wide range of industries, from construction and furniture to fashion and packaging. Being part of the Techtalk Expo allows us to share this vision with a broader audience and connect with others who are working toward systemic change.
The exhibition also highlights a diverse range of Delft-based innovations, including next-generation microchips, AI-driven healthcare solutions, and technologies advancing sustainable shipping—showcasing the city’s role as a hub for impactful technological development.
If you’re in Delft, we invite you to visit the expo and see our materials up close.
